   The reason this isn’t funny is that Marilyn Manson is Goth or Shockrock, not emo. Sort of like calling the Beatles a punk band. Or calling Elton John straight.

   The reason , and I do basically agree with the other commentor. That’s NY, there are so many goths around there, so, that’s a goth, MM isn’t, nor is that kid an emo wannabe.    Well… they might roll their eyes at you, flip you off, or rape your brain with a comeback you couldn’t imagine, but I’ve never known a goth to be too violent. Then again, I’ve never met a New Yorker who wasn’t violent to some degree, so… yeah.
